Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with minimum 8 years of experience to join our
team. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who bridges the gap between development and
operations teams, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our production systems.
You will be responsible for defining, building, and maintaining automated, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD
workflows, while mentoring junior team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Terraform or similar tools.
- CI/CD Leadership: Architect, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to enable high-frequency, reliable software releases.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) for scalability.
- Observability & Reliability: Create and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to guarantee uptime.
- Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and lead incident management efforts.
- Security (DevSecOps): Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring compliance.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive team-wide adoption of DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, IT Operations, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Cloud Expertise: Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architecture.
- Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash.
- IaC Tools: Proficiency in Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside development, QA, and security teams.
